Yes – for the price it is excellent. I’d for sure recommend it if you’re feeling broke-ish. It’s a cute little place on Granville just north of  Davie. They offer a fair selection of sushi and other Japanese items at rock bottom prices. ROCK BOTTOM! Teriyaki, the usual rolls, soups and the like. 

For a measly $5 you can get the 22 piece daily special of:

miso soup

6 piece tuna roll 

8 piece california/or/dynamite/or/chicken/or/bc roll

8 piece kappa/or/yam/or/tofu/or/avocado roll

for 5 bucks you’d think it’d be gross — but it’s totally fresh and very worth the low price. The sushi kind of falls apart — but it’s still good eatin’.

The service is fast and polite. All-around good food and nice people. But they will not bring you a bill – go up front to pay. Here it’s all about the non-fancy good times.

To-go orders recommended — you can take the food to Yaletown, eat in the park, and pretend that you’re a snooty millionaire. Awesome! 

Post-Script – if you think the miso isn’t perfect (aka not quite salty enough) take a trip to Opera sushi (Fir and Broadway) and enjoy their gross offerings and shit service for triple the price. Boo! Three flaccid penises for Opera sushi!

This tension-filled album proves that these boys have crosses to bear. I dunno why they keep preaching to the converted…but I like it. I like it alot.
